In many Tai Chi classes students will be introduced to QiGong. QiGong is the science of cultivating the body's internal energy. This energy is referred to as Qi. Through meditation the student becomes aware of one's Qi. By doing slow moving exercises one will also learn how to balance and coordinate ones breath with the body's movement.
